Call for Smart City Technology Innovation Awards by
International Society for Urban Informatics (ISUI)

Global Smart Cities Summit cum The 3rd International Conference on Urban Informatics (GSCS & ICUI 2023) with exhibition (https://isocui.org/icui2023/), which will be held from Aug.20-23 2023, is the refereed biannual event in the world and is committed to be the largest global event devoted exclusively to innovations and inventions in the field of smart cites. This event provides a unique opportunity for industrial and commercial companies, universities, inventors and researchers, associations, private and state organisms, and institutions to present their inventions, the results of their research and their new products.

We are now calling for submission for projects/products from conference participants. Under the coordination by international award panel, projects/products submitted will go through a selection process, including an on-site question & answer session deemed necessary or an on-site assessment during the exhibition session of GSCS & ICUI 2023. This event aims to provide the possibility for researchers and inventors from all over the world to participate in a competition by presenting their innovative ideas and inventions. Thus, those interested in participating in the competition of GSCS & ICUI 2023 are urged to

1. send a record form;
2. prepare a 3-minute video in which they explain and demonstrate clearly how their invention works;
3. participate in the technology innovation exhibition to conduct interview, which is not mandatory but desirable (if you do not plan to attend the technology innovation exhibition, the assessment will be conducted separately in the form of on-site question & answer)

Prerequisites: At least one of the Inventor/ Researcher participate the conference. The link to registration is here.

Works will be evaluated by a professional jury. The evaluation is mainly focusing on innovation (70%) as well as impact to application and operation (30%).

Deadline: August 5, 2023, the record form with online storage link for a 3-minute video can be sent to conference email address. A unique ID will be assigned to each of assigned projects for further enquiry.
